An Unusual Arrangement Wins WSI Members Award
I am excited to announce that my painting “An Unusual Arrangement” won the WSI Members Award at the 44th Annual Juried Exhibition of the Watercolor Society of Indiana.
According to the WSI, 91 members submitted 159 entries this year. Guest juror Kathleen Giles (AWS, NWS-M, TWSA) selected 45 paintings for the exhibition. My painting won one of only 12 awards. Regarding my art, Ms. Giles commented, “This is an amazing photorealistic painting. The attention to detail here is incredible. The colors are bright and fresh. Our eye travels through the composition and moves from one thing to the other. Congratulations!”
The exhibition at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (Newfields) is free and open to the public, running from August 28 until October 25, 2026.
