Architectural Decoration Services | Alhuda Foundation Islamic Center of Indiana

Jessica Hancock provided the design and on-site installation/decoration of three domes (the largest measuring 28 feet in diameter, and the other two each measuring 14 feet in diameter); the decoration of a 40-foot x 28-foot wall containing the Mihrab and Minbar; decoration of the Mihrab area (a semi-circular wall measuring 18 feet tall x 9 feet wide); the custom frosting of 28 arched windows (11 measuring 5.5 feet wide x 3 feet tall, and 17 measuring 3 feet wide x 2 feet tall); the gilded decoration of a 4 foot x 4 foot geometric border design along the top of all four walls around a 10,000 square foot gymnasium; the application of a tessellating geometric pattern across a 50-foot wide x 4-foot tall mezzanine and across three arcs in the Main Entry (with the largest arch measuring 20 feet tall), and throughout two locker areas with an approximate wall space of 30 square feet. I also hand-gilded two large glass windows measuring 5.5 feet x 3 feet (using 22k gold) and gilded a full ceiling in the arched entry leading to the Musalla. I also supervised the gilding of all recessed gold ceilings throughout the Musalla. Additional services provided include design of door signs and Gathering Area décor, and the production of a 48-page promotional brochure for Rekaz Home Builders that highlights the construction and artistry, as well as Community contributions to the project.
