Jessica Hancock provided interior and exterior design services and hand-painted the art and Arabic calligraphy. The dome measures 18′ 6″ in diameter and soars 37 feet from floor to ceiling. The decorative design is unique and was created by Jessica specifically for this mosque. Overall, 300 feet of Arabic calligraphy was painted by hand in gold around the soffit and at the top center of the dome.
