I am so honored to be juried into the National Association of Women Artists!
NAWA is the oldest women’s fine art organization in the country, founded in 1889. Past members include such famous artists as Mary Cassatt, Cecilia Beau, and Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney. Documented exhibits including NAWA members are archived within the Smithsonian Institution, The Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Library of Congress, among many others.
