Jessica’s first professional fine art exhibition was The Self Portrait Show at Gallery 924 at the Arts Council of Indianapolis in June 2013. The art exhibited is titled “Walls Around My Heart” — a portrait of the artist after the heartbreak of a failed 20-year relationship. The work measures 32″ W x 40″ H and was drawn entirely by hand, in ink, using only a compass and ruler as guides. There is a small piece of 22K gold leaf at the very center of the drawing.
